Today’s Old Testament reading from Genesis 12 tells the story of Abram receiving a call from God to leave behind what is familiar and step into an unknown future. It is a story about trust, courage, and blessing. As we recognize some of our graduates, it reminds us that every new chapter of life begins with steps of faith and that God calls us not only to be blessed, but also to be a blessing to others.
