FINDING COMMON-UNITY | Missionary Joy Prim | July 19, 2026

In this service, it is our great privilege to welcome Deaconess Joy Prim as our guest preacher and missionary with whom we are in covenant. Joy serves with the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church and is currently serving in Hong Kong, where she ministers alongside local communities through ministries of compassion, justice, education, and Christian witness. In The United Methodist Church, a Deaconess is a laywoman who is called by God to a lifetime ministry of love, justice, and service. Rather than serving as ordained clergy, Deaconesses are commissioned to represent Christ through ministries with people who are often overlooked or in need, helping the Church live out its mission in practical and compassionate ways.
