HOW TO DEAL WITH SUFFERING

Dear Cheney UMC friends, I am just speechless about what's going on and how devastating this fire situation is. Life is fragile and suddenly the time seems to stand still and we realize how powerless we are. I am thankful for our men and women who are fighting those fires and trying to keep people safe. And this is what we have to do as well. Right now the smoke is very bad and people should stay at home and keep the streets clear. Therefore, we have decided not to have an in-person worship service.
